Homer Ray Stephens, 81, of Benton, passed away July 11, 2010. Born in Almyra, Arkansas to Bryan and Vera Townsend Stephens, he was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WWII, retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Reeves Stephens; daughters, Judy Stephens and Nancy Shackleford; grandchildren, Amy Stephens, Jamie Williams and Amanda Knuckles; and great-grandchildren, Alexius Stephens and Chloe Robertson.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Friday, July 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Randy Norman and Rev. Nelson Watson.
