Hollye Fincher Young, 41, of Little Rock, died on Sunday, April 19, 2009. She was born October 26, 1967 in West Memphis, Arkansas, the daughter of John and Hildred Bean Fincher. Hollye attended schools in Monticello and Newport and graduated from Crossett High School. She attended the U of A at Fayetteville, where she was a Razorback Belle and a member of Chi Omega, and graduated from UALR. She was a state tennis champion as well as excelling at swimming.
She is survived by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Hunter and Susan Fincher and nephews, Ryan and Jarred, of Conway; three daughters, Megan, Ashlye and Jessica Young of Hot Springs; special friend, Ted Jester; uncle, Gene Garland and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 21 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Services will be Wednesday, April 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the church, officiated by Msgr. Francis I. Malone. Burial will take place in Jones Cemetery at Amity at 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Grady Bean, Stacy Bean, Allen Dobson, Brooks Walker, Jeff Walker and Stuart Walker. Memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic School, 4000 N. Rodney Parham, Little Rock, AR 72212.
