Hollis Seth Barnett

Hollis S. Barnett of Mabelvale, entered his heavenly home on August 24, 2022. Hollis was born October 2, 1931 to Seth and Josie Barnett in Dardanelle, Arkansas. He retired from Reynolds Metal Company and served in the US Army during the Korean War and fought at the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. His talents included woodworking, building, and drawing. He loved watching and playing with his grand girls.

The love of his life was Thelma, his wife of 68 years. They raised and loved three children into adulthood. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Thelma, and daughter Connie Barnett. He is survived by his sons, Hollis (Suzanne) Barnett, Dr. Don Barnett (Jane) granddaughters Connie Dowell, Kate Veenhuizen, Sarah and Hannah Barnett, great-grandchildren Rob, Rose, Mari, Millie, Cameron and Hazel.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Alzheimer’s Association or UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.

Graveside Services are Tuesday, August 30th at 11am at Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander, AR.
