Hildred Jane Fincher

Hildred Jane Fincher of Amity passed from this life on March 19, 2022 at the age of 86. She was born July 6, 1935 in Amity, Arkansas to the late Ilo and Dona (Garner) Bean. Ms. Fincher was a longtime member of St. James United Methodist Church. She spent many years in the education system as an elementary  teacher at Parkin, Monticello, Newport, and Crossett. She was an avid sports fan, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, John Fincher; daughter, Hollye Young; sister, Bobbye Doughty, and brother, LeRoy Bean.

Survivors include her son, Hunter Fincher (Susan) of Conway; grandchildren, Jarred Fincher (Dayle) and Ryan Fincher both of Conway; Megan Young (Jared Coleman) of Little Rock, Ashlye Young and Jessie Cato (Mason) both of Hot Springs. Other survivors include great grandchildren, Will and Wesley Cato, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, March, 23, 2022 at Amity Cemetery. Memorials in her memory may be made to Jones Cemetery, c/o Dora Lee Bean, 316 N. Hill Street, Amity, Arkansas 71921.
