Herbert Wolf

Herbert Henry Wolf, Jr., 91, of North Little Rock, passed away suddenly on January 27, 2013 following complications of surgery. Born in Little Rock to Herbert and June Maas Wolf, he attended Washington and Lee University and, following his military service, graduated from the University of Arkansas.
A member of the Greatest Generation, he served in the United States Army during WWII in the campaigns of Normandy, Northern France, Central Europe, the Rhineland and the Ardennes, for which he was awarded five Bronze Service Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. He was an employee of M.M.Cohn and Block Realty and also sold stocks and bonds.
Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cherry Cameron Wolf; daughter, Debbie Stroud (Danny) of Sherwood; sons, Bert Wolf (Amber) of Bryant and Bob Wolf (Becky) of Conway; sister, Betty Lou Epstein of Prairie Village, Kansas; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Thursday, January 31 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Barry Wingfield. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and to the American Heart Association.
