Henry Via

Henry Via, 77, of Cabot passed away January 28, 2019.  He was born September 16, 1941 in Little Rock, AR to John and Beulah Via.  He served in the U.S. Army and was a lifetime member of the VFW and AM Vets as well as being a member of the American Legion and The Gap Mission Church.

Henry never met a stranger and was a kindhearted soul who practiced generosity and helped folks on a regular basis.  He retired from First Electric, Jacksonville and then stayed busy at Adesa Auto.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Pat Via; children, David, John, and Stephanie Via, Rob Dearman, and Rachel Bentley; eight grandchildren:  Jesse, Mikey and Kayla Bentley, Danny Dearman, Jordan Standifer, and Margaret, Christopher and Lauren Via; and two great-grandchildren:  Kelly Bentley and Logan Dearman.  He is preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday, February 4, 2019 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Gap Mission Church, 14 Patty Lane, Conway. Burial will be at Sumner Cemetery, Cabot.
