Henry Middleton

Henry P. Middleton, Jr. (Junior), of Cabot, Arkansas, beloved husband of Gladys for fifty-nine years, went to be with the Lord March 7, 2009, at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born April 6, 1925. He was retired from Iron Worker Union No. 378, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, where he served on the USS Core CVE13. He was a member of Cockelbur Baptist Church.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Middleton, Sr. and Cora Lee Middleton, two sisters, four brothers and one granddaughter. He is survived by his son, Rick Middleton of Cabot; daughter Marilyn Applewhite and husand, James of Austin; two grandchildren, Jerry Taylor, Jr. and wife Crystal of Cabot; and Amy M. Peltzer and husband of Grass Valley, California; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles and Helen Middleton of California and Larry Middleton of Cabot.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Cockelbur Bapist Church, with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
