Henry McPherson

Henry McPherson, 72, of Sherwood passed away peacefully at his home of fifty years, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. He was born March 1, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas to L.M. and Ruby Jewel McPherson. Henry and Nancy owned and operated McPherson Electric for over forty years. He enjoyed spending time at Tulip with his family and friends. He was a lifelong member of Sylvan Hills Community Church and a founding member of the Manning Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Nancy McPherson; sons, Slade McPherson (Christi) and Brady McPherson (J.J.); grandchildren, Garrett McPherson (Rikki), Dalton McPherson, Colton McPherson, and Bailey McPherson; brother, Ronnie McPherson (Pam); and a host of other family and friends who he also loved. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ernest Lynn McPherson.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 20 at Sylvan Hills Community Church. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
