Henrietta Francis

Henrietta Francis age 95 of Arkadelphia went to sleep in Christ Jesus on February 14, 2011. She was born December 27, 1915 the daughter of the late Henry and Eunice Steele Alexander. Henrietta was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, worked at Levi Straus for twenty-six years, was a cook and a foster grandparent. She loved to hunt, enjoyed visiting and laughing with her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carley Francis; son and daughter-in-law, Mr.& Mrs. L. C. Francis and one grandson, Frank Mock III.

Survivors are three grandsons, Calvin Francis and wife, Kelly; Carlie Wetherington and wife, Joan both of Arkadelphia; Larry Ligon and wife, Ardelia of Bastrop, Louisiana; one granddaughter, Vonice Brown and husband, Tim of Bismarck, Arkansas; seven great-grandchildren; twenty great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; one sister, Jimmie Emerson of San Antonio, Texas; many dear friends and extended family.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 17th at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Dr. John Small officiating. Interment will be in Golden Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM Thursday until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Mike, Keith, Charles and Ricky Francis; Wayne Holcomb and Randy Dixon. Honorary pallbearers are Bill and Olen Francis.
