Henrietta Catherine Fischer

On November 29, 2022, Henrietta “Henie” Catherine Fischer, 82, of Hensley, passed away at home with her family at her side. She was born in New Dixie, Arkansas to John and Joanna Rump Rachaner and was a parishioner at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Dixie. Among her many interests were home decorating and flower gardening. She loved to cook, play poker, go to the beach, watch sports and spend time with her family. She loved being a Mamaw and GiGi. Henie was fun-loving, inviting and friendly and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Alfred “Bud” Fischer; daughters, Debi Ransom (Marty) and Suzanne Muniz (Jay); brother, Eugene Rachaner; sister, Dorothy Shaffran; grandchildren, Joanna Muniz (Jessie Beard), Taylor Ransom (Trevor Cossey); and great-granddaughter, Gabriella Beard. She was predeceased by her parents and sisters, Juanita Brown and Shirley Sormani.

A mass will be held on Tuesday December 13, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 20 St Boniface Dr, Bigelow, AR, followed by a reception. Inurnment to follow reception at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
