Henrietta "Sisty" Kelley Davis, 82, passed away August 12, 2015. She was born on August 5, 1933 in Parkin, Arkansas to James Henry Kelley and Thelma Stephens Kelley Jeffries and also raised by her stepfather, Thomas M. Jeffries. A graduate of McCrory High School, she studied at the University of Central Arkansas (Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway), the University of Mississippi and Santa Rosa College in California.

Kelley was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Davis, son, Ronald T. Davis and a sister, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Huff. She is survived by two sons, Larry F. Davis (Robin) of Hot Springs Village and Stephen K. Davis of Little Rock; brother, Thomas M. Jeffries, Jr. and sister, Sally Jeffries Condra, both of Little Rock; granddaughters, Faleena Dempsey (Mark) of McKinney, Texas and Sara R. Davis of Beebe, Arkansas; great-granddaughters, Caitlin and Emily and many nieces and nephews.

Kelley retired after 27 years with the Federal Government, with 17 of those years as a Hearing Assistant with the Social Security Office of Hearing and Appeals. She spent many years as an active member of both the Arkansas Quilters Guild and Saline County Quilters Guild, and made quilts for every baby born into the family since her retirement, and worked many of the charity events sponsored by the guilds.

Many prayers and good wishes to Dr. Lance Burns, Dr. Kewen Jauss, Stagecoach Nursing and Rehab and Arkansas Hospice for all their devotion and dedication.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15 beginning at 2:00 p.m., followed by the service at 3:00 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Mary Jane Cole. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16 at McCrory Oddfellows Cemetery in McCrory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, #14 Parkstone Circle, No. Little Rock, AR 72116 or the First United Methodist Church, 723 Center St., Little Rock, AR 72201.
