Helen Webb

Helen Elizabeth Webb "Hunny" to many, left us to begin her eternal adventure on June 22, 2014. Life with "Hunny" was always an adventure. Her free spirit and loving heart were larger than life. She owned and operated Mane Event salon, where she treated her clients as a part of her extended family. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Through her business she reached out to the community in several philanthropic activities such as Locks of love, GYST House and a program for cancer patients called "Look Good Feel Good" where she provided patients going through treatment with wigs and other services. You always left her company with a smile and feeling ready to conquer the world. She had that effect on everyone she met. A spirit that beautiful will live forever.
Helen leaves behind loving husband of 65 years, E.C. Webb; her devoted son and daughter, Michael R. Webb and Lisabeth Webb Chambers; and sister Billie J. Starks. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at Landmark Baptist Church by Pastor Roy Matlock and the celebration of a life well lived will begin at 11:00 am and will not end as long as she is remembered. She was loved, she was admired and her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
