Helen Jewell Waters

Helen Jewell (Johnson) Waters 84 of Paron, AR made her journey to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. She was born March 11, 1938 to the late Albert and Ruby Johnson of Roland, AR.

Helen had a heart for service. She was a nurse and worked with the elderly, but God led her to serve children and she spent her years before retirement as a public-school nurse. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, friend, nurse and Christian! The love for her family and her God was what sustained her throughout her life!! Her strength and Faith were unmeasurable.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, Tilmon and Pearl Waters; husband, Bobby Ray Waters, sons, Wendell Waters Sr., Danny Waters and Tony Waters; sister, Jeanie Mangus; granddaughter, Lindsay DeAnn Waters and great-grandson Gunner Waters.

Helen is survived by her son and daughter-n-law David and Dana Waters of Paron, AR; son Bobby G. Waters of Paron; grandsons, Wendell (Jessica) Waters Jr. of Spring Grove, PA; Billy Waters, Allen Waters both of Paron, AR; Keith (Lindsy) Waters of Perryville, AR; Drew (Madison) Waters of Lono, AR; daughter-n-law, Sharon Waters of Paron, AR; brother, Lloyd Johnson of Lexington, KY; sister-n-law, Barbra Gilbert of Jonesboro, AR; great-grandchildren - Annie, Eli, Calvin, Tesa Jewell, Angelina, Wendell III, Capri and Cody; many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and a very special cousin, friend and care giver, Tamra Gentry!!

Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 3, 2022 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Graveside service is 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Kennerly Cemetery, Monnie Springs.
