Helen Walker
Helen Jane (Whitehead) Walker, 81, passed away May 16, 2016. Helen was born July 15, 1934 in Tulsa Oklahoma, and was raised in Little Rock. She was a graduate of Mount Saint Mary Academy, class of 1953. She was a bookkeeper at the Catholic Diocese of Little Rock from 1982 to 2000, when she retired.
Helen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Paul Walker; son and family, Louis and Shirley Walker, Lucas and Brennan Walker, of Little Rock; daughter and family, Kathryn and Josef Mainka and Alex and Rebecca Mainka of Springfield, MO.; and one sister and family, Ruth and Jim Davis of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Kathryn Whitehead; her sister, Mary Dillon; and niece, Laura Berry.
Visitation is Thursday, May 19 beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 7:00 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Her Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., followed by entombment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Presbyterian Village in her memory.
