Helen Uekman

Helen Uekman, 86, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019. She was born August 14, 1932 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Louis and Lula Gershner. She graduated from Ole Main High School and she and her husband owned Bill’s Office Furniture.

Helen is survived by her sons, Mike Uekman (Brenda), Gregory Uekman (Ann Dorough) and Dennis Uekman; grandchildren, Tina Dunavant (Josh), Amanda Phillips (Daniel), Adriane Uekman and Billy Uekman; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Casper “Bill” Uekman; brother, Lou Gershner; and her sisters, Adeline Haynes, Dorothy Kilbury and Ann Wells.

A visitation will be from noon to 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2019 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
