Helen Stewart Gibbs

Helen Stewart Gibbs, age 91, of Hot Springs Village, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. She was born on September 10, 1927 in England, Arkansas, the daughter of Sidney Crawford Stewart and Hattie Dee Cummings Stewart. On February 23, 1947, she was married to James Brice Gibbs who preceded her in death on October 19, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her son Robert "Bob" Gibbs; her parents; and her sister, Bobbie Jo Stewart. Helen thoroughly enjoyed the game of golf. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Sid and Jeannie Stewart of Maumelle; her grandson, Robert Brice Gibbs of Texas; two great-grandchildren, Harrison and Brooks Gibbs; and three nieces. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 12, 2019, in the Glenwood Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Lock officiating.
