Helen Rooney

Helen Emilea Rooney, 74, of Ward, Arkansas was born to Helen Trotter and Dewitt Bland. She went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 25, 2013. Emilea was loved by many, and also loved so many. She will leave a mark on everyone she came into contact with. Emilea was an active member of Cabot United Methodist Church and had a faith like no other. She loved her time with the Extension Homemakers Club and United Methodist Women.

She is preceded in death by her father; only brother, Wayne Bland; grandparents, Emmett Lock Folks and Ruby Mae Folks.

Emilea leaves behind her loving mother, Helen; husband Roger of 56 years; two sons, John DeWayne Rooney and Chuck (Laura) Rooney; two grandchildren, Jeni and Gabe that never failed to put a smile on her face; sister in law, Delores Habel of Springfield, Massachusetts; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2013, at Cabot United Methodist Church with burial in Beebe Cemetery.
