Helen Marie McGarity

Helen Marie McGarity of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away on March 22nd, 2025 at the age of 68.

She was a faithful member of First Pentecostal church for 32 years. She was a wife, mother and grandmother. She is proceeded in death by her husband Gary McGarity, and father Harvey Freeman Sr. 

Helen is survived by her mother Sylvia Freeman, Brother Harvey Freeman Jr. Her sons Larry White (Becky) and Boyd McGarity (Letha). Her grandchildren Cayden and Logan McGarity. Her Aunts Laverne Gilbert and Mary Kling And many nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Helen enjoyed singing, sewing, canning, quilting, and collecting many many things. Red was her favorite color. She spent time writing letters to people as a Pen pal. She enjoyed taking mother to appointments and eating lunch together.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 31st at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Burial will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, April 3rd at 10:00 a.m.
