Helen Marie Leamons

Helen Marie Leamons, age 75, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019. She was born on January 21, 1944 in Glenwood, the daughter of James Robertson and Burnie McGough Robertson. On August 20, 1963, she was married to James Leamons. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Presley Robertson. Helen was Assembly of God in her faith and enjoyed competing in the Pike County Fair. She would have entries in canning, photography, crafts and other divisions. She was very active in the Glenwood Senior Citizens Center and loved playing with the Bean Bag Baseball team. She is survived by her husband, James Leamons of Glenwood; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Trina Leamons of Berryville; her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Robert Porter of Glenwood; five grandchildren, Cody Barrett, Jessie Leamons, Dillon Constantino, Kayla Porter and Kinsey Porter; her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Sharon Robertson; her sister, Debra Nichols; her sister-in-law, Linda Robertson, all of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 25, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Bobby Lock officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 1:00 PM until service time, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the County Line Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Porter, Dillon Constantino, Jason Tweedle, Jessie Leamons, Brian Bailey and Calvin Nichols. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
