Helen Gregurek

Helen Watts Gregurek, age 87, went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2009. She was born July 1, 1922 to Clester and Jewel Watts of Leslie, Arkansas. Helen was truly a Proverb 31 woman, giving herself and all she had for her family. She lived in North Little Rock, Arkansas area for over 50 years. She worked in banking and retired from the Twin City Bank of North Little Rock. Helen was a member of Forty-Seventh Street Baptist Church, 4700 Pike, North Little Rock.
She is the widow of the late Earnest Gregurek Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Chitty, son-in-law, Gary Chitty and grandson, Eric Mathis of Little Rock; six step-children, Marla Christine Gregurek, Christopher Gregurek, Stephen Gregurek, Earnest Gregurek, Jr., Paula Graves, and Sharon Steinecke and ten grandchildren from the Gregurek side of the family.
Helen's family would like to thank the staff of Briarwood Nursing Home and Odyssey Hospice for her excellent care.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at Forty Seventh Street Baptist Church. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
