Helen Forbis, 77, born in Hilo, Hawaii, traveled this life to a peaceful home on Thursday, April 26, 2007 from Hospice Home Health. She was retired from Bard's Restaurant and Captain's 9, and she was an active member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary and MOCA.
She is survived by one loving son, Robert Forbis and his wife, Marie, of LaVergne, Tennessee; three loving daughters, Shirley Reed, Jeanne Shepherd and Sandra Tobar and her husband, Calixto, all of Little Rock. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Jessica and Samantha Forbis, Amber Bammel, April Dolson, Jamie Puckett, Crystn Thompson, Monika Rodgers and T. J. Williams; great-grandchildren, Dylan Puckett, Loryn and Chase Ashby, Allison Dolson, Caitlyn Bammel, and Matthew, Lauren and Alyssa Rodgers. Helen will also be missed by many friends who enjoyed her vivacious personality, loving heart, her capacity for fun, forgiveness and love without bounds.
Celebration of Life 6:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5th VFW Post 9095 Gamble at Kanis Road in Little Rock. Children Welcomed and Enjoyed.
