Helen Louise McMunn Fay, 79, of Jacksonville passed from this life on August 6, 2021, at Saint Vincent Medical Center in Sherwood. She was born December 13, 1941, in Truman, Arkansas Poinsett County to the late Jesse Lee and Mamie Hazel (Lowery) McMunn. Mrs. Fay was a homemaker and a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was always happiest spending time with her family. Her only real hobby was spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren in any way she could. She will always be remembered for her gentle nature, giving heart and the unconditional love she provided to her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Jesse Lee McMunn, Mamie Hazel (Lowery) McMunn, siblings: Ruth McMunn Taylor, Rosa McMunn Tomlinson, Janett McMunn Weyand, J.C. McMunn, Van McMunn, and Floyd McMunn preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Richard L. Fay; children, Norman Keith Sanders, Jerry Don Sanders (Leona), Sandra Elaine Valdez (Raul); grandchildren, Anthony Dailey, Stephanie Sanders Cagle (Chris), Richard Sanders, Michael Dailey (Tanisha); great grandchildren, Isabella Dailey, Grayson Dailey, Charlotte Cagle, Carter Cagle, Khloe Sanders, William Sanders, Savannah Sanders, and Elijah Dailey. Other survivors include, siblings, Kathryn McMunn Carter (Gene), Zola McMunn Parris (Bobby), Lloyd “Buddy” McMunn, Kenneth “Kenny” McMunn, and a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of Helen’s life will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, August 21, 2021, at First Baptist Church, Jacksonville.
