Helen Mary (dAquin) Eckart, of Little Rock, age 84 years, beloved wife of Dr. Emile P. Eckart, died on September 9, 2006. She was a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 17, 1921, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister. She was a graduate of Dominican College in New Orleans, marrying her husband, of 61 years, on January 20, 1945.
She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and is survived by two sons, Emile III of Salt Lake City, Utah, Christopher of Storm Lake, Iowa; three daughters, Holliday Waldrop of Orlando, Florida, Barbara Harbach of Chino Hills, California and Deborah Trickey, of Fort Worth, Texas and their spouses. She is survived by three grandsons, Emile IV, Gregory and Matthew, and loving granddaughter, Madeline Harbach. Helen will be sorely missed by her family and friends who cherished the memory of her caring disposition and warm, loving smile.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church or Baptist Hospice.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M October 10, 2006 at Immaculate Heart of Mary.
