Helen Bullington

Helen V. Bullington, 96, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was born on July 2, 1925 in Little Rock to the late Henry and Ora Lee Brown Jackson. Helen met the love of her life, Jimmie F. Bullington, and they were married on June 5th, 1953. She went to work for Westinghouse and Phillips Lighting and retired after 34 years of service. Although Helen loved playing bingo and making jewelry, she was known for her constant smile, her loving disposition, and was very proud of her family.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jimmie F. Bullington; her parents; daughter Glenda Mahan; sisters Billie Hamaker and Eula Eakes; granddaughters Shana Mahan and Starla Childs Vaughn; and step-daughter Kay Bullington.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Carolyn Foster (Johnny) of Cabot; grandchildren John Cary Foster (Michelle) of North Little Rock, Karen Cummings (Darren) of Scott, Shane Foster (Sarah) of Sherwood, and Kevin Childs (Joy) of Jonesboro; and 6 Great-Grandchildren Lauren Foster, Sarah Grace Foster, Aaron Cummings, Connor Cummings, Carsyn Foster, Brandy Childs, Josh Vaughn (Heather), and Jessica Vaughn.

A private family interment at Salem Cemetery will be held at a later date.
