Helen Blount

Helen Louise Blount, 80, of North Little Rock died May 30, 2007 after a nine month battle with ovarian cancer. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, a volunteer at Helping Hand in Little Rock for over 20 years and the American Red Cross.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mathias M. Koch, of D?Hanis, Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Clarence Blount and her brother, Leo Koch, of Temple, Texas. She is survived by her brothers, Matt and Gene Koch, of D?Hanis, Texas, Bernard Koch, of Winnie, Texas; sister, Charlotte Lutz, of Hondo, Texas; daughter, Carole Drinkwater and her husband, Mike, of Conway; son, Dr. David Blount and his wife, Beverly, of Ft. Smith; grandchildren, Belinda Boyd and husband, Stuart, Drew Drinkwater and wife, Mysti and Sarah Blount, all of Conway; and six great grandchildren, Jordanne, Benjamin and Zella Drinkwater, Katelyn, Madison, and Parker Boyd.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7000 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116 or Helping Hand, 1601 Marshall Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.
