Helen Blackwell

Helen Blackwell, 85, of North Little Rock passed away June 4, 2018. She was born Jan 26, 1933 in Agnes, AR to the late Fred & Bunice Tucker. She was a faithful longtime member of Central Church of Christ in Little Rock. She retired after 38 years with the VA working at all three facilities before retiring from Ft. Roots. She enjoyed bowling and she and her late husband bowled with the leagues, Speed Ballers and Late Comers. Helen personally knew and loved Elvis before he became famous. She was loved and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Blackwell Pearson; three grandchildren, Allyson Pearson, Cora Pearson and Autumn Pearson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Blackwell, special friend, E. E. Loftus and siblings John Tucker and Ruth Copeland.
Visitation is from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday, June 8, 2018 followed by the funeral at 2:00 PM at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
