Helen Allen

Helen Allen, 90, of McRae, Arkansas, was born April 22, 1921, at Des Arc, Arkansas, to Henderson and Oma (Love) George, and she died Wednesday, February 1, 2012. She was a member of McRae First Baptist Church. Helen was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Vivian (Charles) Richardson of Sherwood, Oittis Ray (Anita) Allen of Cherokee, Alabama, Vernon Lester Allen of McRae and Gladys Williams of McRae; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Earnest Lee George and John Thomas George, both of McRae.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Oittis Samuel; sons, Milton Wayne Fuller and Jimmy Lee Bowen; and one great-grandson, Gavin Wayne Broyles.
Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012, at McRae First Baptist Church, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
