Hector Planchart

Hector Planchart of Little Rock, born on September 27, 1963 in Puerto de la Cruz, Venezuela, found eternal rest on Saturday, September 24, 2005. He remains in our hearts and is with us in spirit. He represented his country, Venezuela, as a gymnast in the Olympic Games and continued his love for the sport as a gymnastics coach, most recently in the Central Arkansas area. Hector held a strong faith, loved his family and friends dearly and will be remembered as a wonderful and loving father, a gracious and kind-hearted friend and an inspiration to his gymnastic students.
Hector is survived by his beloved daughter, Isabella, of Oklahoma; his mother, Ramona, and his sister, Liz, both of Venezuela and countless friends.
A Rosary Service will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2005, followed by a Funeral Mass at 4:00 p.m. at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 801 Sherman St., Little Rock, AR with Reverend John Kerr officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Hector's AGTC Team. In lieu of flower arrangements, the family requests contributions be made to the Hector Planchart Memorial Fund. Contributions may be made at the Kavanaugh Branch of OneBanc, located at 5601 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock, AR 72207.
Arrangements by Little Rock Funeral Home, a Leggett Family Owned Funeral Home, 501-224-2200.
