Hazel Tolleson, age 88, of Kirby, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011. She was born on August 13, 1923, at Hubbard, Texas, the daughter of James P. Motley and Idora Bonner Motley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Michelle Love; her son-in-law, Earl Love; her brother, Theodore Motley; and two sisters, Ida Mae Hester and Geneva Thorpe. She was a member of the Daisy Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Lester Tolleson of Kirby; her son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Judith Tolleson of Paragould; her daughter and son-in-law, Shelvia and Travis Golden of Kirby; three grandchildren, Michael Love of North Little Rock, Matt Tolleson of Memphis and Amber Bucy and her husband, Shawn, of Rector; two great-grandchildren, Avery Bucy and Parker Bucy, both of Rector; her brother and sister-in-law, James P. and Antionette Motley of Waco, Texas; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 2, 2011, in the Bear Creek Cemetery with Ed Coffman officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
