Hazel White Stevenson

Hazel White Stevenson age 99, of Arkadelphia, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at her home. She was born July 11, 1923 in Clark County, one of six children to the late Memenger and Lois Green White.

Hazel was a member of the Dalark Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She loved to garden and was very proud to be involved with the foster grandparent program with the Arkadelphia School System.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Edward Stevenson and all of her siblings.

Survivors are her children, Mattie McCaskill, Leamon “Buddy” (Vickie) Stevenson, Donna Sue (Milton) Hutcherson all of Arkadelphia, James Stevenson of Winnie, Texas, Virginia Anderson and Brenda Stevenson both of Arkadelphia; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, fifteen great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday, May 2^nd at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 3^rd at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Bro Dan Slate and Matthew Stevenson officiating. The burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Duane Green, Matthew Stevenson, Nathan Jackson, John David Stevenson and James Edward Stevenson.
