Hazel Ray Sappington Linsner was born in England, AR March 10, 1926 to Cecil Calvin and Nora Maude Peggram Sappington, and grew in the Plum Bayou area near England. She passed away on May 31, 2012 in North Little Rock AR at Robinson Nursing and rehabilitation Center. Robinson has been her home for the past 6 ½ years, where she has made many friends. She was a homemaker most of her life, but was employed a brief time for Ben Pearson Manufacturing in Pine Bluff and for 7 years by Campbell Soup Company in Fayetteville, AR, retiring in 1977.

Ms. Linsner was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Carlee, Theodore, Herbert, and Pete Sappington, and half-brother Jack McCurley. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Loftis (Steve) Sneed. She is survived by one sister, Opal Shanek of Hot Springs, and by sons, Roger (Rachael) Loftis of Benton; Gerald (Cathy) Loftis of Beebe; Mike (Lisa) Loftis of Sherwood; Danny Loftis of Carlisle, and daughters, Linda (Lynn) Pippin of North Little Rock, June (Daniel) Morrison of Pontiac, MO; Patty Linsner of Bella Vista, Mary Linsner of Rogers, and Faye Taylor of Bentonville, AR. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday June 3rd, at North Little Rock Funeral Home; 1921 N. Main St. in North Little Rock, AR and a memorial service will be held there as well on Monday, June 4th at 10:00 a.m.. Interment will follow afterward at Quattlebaum Cemetery at 12:00 noon, near Bee Branch, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial donations be made to First Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock, or to the Central Arkansas Area Agency on Aging.

The family wishes to thank First Assembly of God of North Little Rock for providing regular transportation to church, a wonderful faithful mentor in Ms. Chucky Shirley, and faithful support. We would also like to thank the staff at Robinson Nursing and Rehabilitation for their loving care and support for 6 ½ years. She and her family have developed many friendships with the staff, residents and resident's families.
