Hazel Weaver Earls, 94, of Little Rock, widow of Cecil Lovern Earls, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010. Born in Steele, Missouri to Elijah Roy Weaver and Lella Adelle McCollum Weaver, she was a member of West Main Church of Christ in Blytheville, Arkansas from 1949 to 1998.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Earls and wife, Anne of Springfield, Missouri; daughter, Joan Leggett and husband, Harry of Little Rock; grandchildren, Jim Leggett (Randi), Brad Leggett, Jeb Leggett (Tracie), Leigh Anne Long, Jennifer Sanders, Tiffany Wimberly (Jim) and Jonathan Earls (Sonja); and sixteen great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Byron Weaver and Royal "Sonny" Weaver, sister, Gaynelle Weaver Erwin and grandsons, Don Earls and David Leggett.
Her family will greet friends at the John W. German Funeral Home, 407 S. Walnut, Steele, Missouri on Monday, January 3 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
