Hathia Jackson Pennington age 99 of Arkadelphia went to be with her Lord Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in Arkadelphia. She was born March 10, 1910 in Hot Springs Co. Arkansas to Christopher and Maude Quick Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
She is survived by three daughters, Charlene Park and husband Paul of Okolona, Vema Pennington of Arkadelphia and Eva Mize and husband Hugh of Springhill, LA., 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.B. Pennington, one daughter Patsy Maxine Robbins Morrison, one grandson, John Mize, one great-granddaughter, Jessica Funderburk, five brothers and 5 sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:30 Saturday at the Antoine Baptist church with Rev. Herbert Watts and Rev. Kevin Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Antoine cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday at the Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
