Harvey Smith

Harvey Cletus Smith, 82, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014. He served in the United States Army and National Guard. He served as a Deacon at North Hills Baptist Church. Cletus was a member of Gideon's International and Gideon's Prison Ministry. He was also a proprietor of barbeque restaurants for 50 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Lemley; son, Don (Jane) Smith; four grandchildren, Jon DuVall, Chad Hendrix (Lauren), Britt Smith (Allie) and Grant Smith (Morgan); four great grandchildren, Keegan and Kennedy Smith, Carson Smith, and Campbell Hendrix. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 60 years, Delores "Dee" Uhrich Smith; and four siblings, Velma Carr, Lois Hicks, Charlie Smith and Donald Smith.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Cabot. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the funeral home.
