Harvey Fritts

July 14, 1929 — November 10, 2015

Harvey Fritts

Harvey went home to the Lord on November 10, 2015 to join his sweetheart Vivian of 67 years who preceded him by 298 days, and son Jerry in 2014. Also, preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Gertrude Fritts, and one sister Corene Corbit.

He is survived by daughter Barbara Wade, granddaughters Cyndi Thresher and Cherri Mertz, grandchildren, Bryson and Brooke Thresher and Peyton Mertz, all of Hot Springs. Siblings, Martha Moore, Glenda Graham, Janet Griebel, Bill Fritts, Cal King, and many brothers and sisters in laws, nieces and nephews.

Harvey owned many businesses in his 86 years, but his radio stations were his longest venture where he shared his passion of bluegrass music.

Harvey built over 80 structures and was a man self taught who could do anything he set his mind to. His greatest loves were the Lord and his sweetheart Vivian.

He was a devout Christian of Pentecostal faith and built many churches all bearing the name of Jesus Christ. His favorite scripture was Acts 2:38.

We will say goodbye to Harvey at a graveside service on Friday, November 13, at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, where he will be laid to rest with his sweetheart Vivian and son Jerry.

Please join us as we celebrate his trip to his heavenly home.
