Harold Ness

Harold A. Ness, 76, of Sherwood, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Harold retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service and retired from Sears as AC Service Tech. with 20 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Farrish Ness; son, Michael Anthony Ness (Lesa) of Little Rock; two daughters, Monica Ann Ness of Baltimore, Maryland and Melissa Ann Ness of Atlanta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Tommy Huff and Laura Ness; three great-grandchildren, Austin, Sean and Joseph; two brothers, LeRoy Ness (Ann) of Ragley, Louisiana and Richard Ness (Nancy) of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Florence Ness; brother, Larry Ness; and sister, Barbara Baughman.

The family wishes to express thanks to the staff of the VA Hospice for all their loving care of Harold. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Lung Association or charity of your choose.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170, with Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
