Harold Lockwood "Bubba" Forest, III

Harold Lockwood "Bubba" Forest, III, age 60, of Glenwood, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was born on January 13, 1959, in Houston, Texas, the son of Harold Lockwood Forest, Sr. and Charlene Green Forest. He was preceded in death by his son, Dakota Forest; his parents; and three sisters, Kathy, JoAnne and Yolanda. He was a member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Bubba was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, whose greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored. He is survived by his wife, Susan Forest of Glenwood; three daughters, Kristina McDougal and her husband, Dillon, Jessica Forest and her boyfriend, John Harcourt and Haley Connor and her husband, Kristopher, all of Hot Springs; his grandchildren, Madelyn McDougal, Phoenix Connor, Roan Connor (who will be here in 4 months) and Benjamin Harcourt; his brother, Harold Lockwood "Butch" Forest, II of Lomax, Texas; two sisters, Mary Ann Payne of Houston, Texas and Tonya Ann Forest of Fredericksburg, Texas; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mitch and Diana Featherston of Glenwood; his sister-in-law, Alana Shay and her children, Kylie Fox, Blane Moss and Seth Moss; numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends. The family will hold a celebration of Bubbas life at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2019, in the Glenwood First Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Bobby Lock and Bro. J. B. Evans officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2019, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
