Harold G Jones

Harold G. “Harry” Jones passed away on September 10, 2024. He was born March 10, 1938 at Aberdeen, Monroe County, Arkansas to the late Harvey Gentry Jones and Iva Berniece Goodwin Jones.

A graduate of Little Rock Central High Class of 1956, he attended Arkansas Polytechnic College (now Arkansas Tech University). He proudly served as a cryptographer in the United States Air Force in Texas, California and Okinawa, Japan. He worked in Banking for 50 years.

Harry married the love of his life, Katheryn “Kitty” Phillips on August 7, 1965.

He is survived by his wife Kitty and brother, Billy G. Jones of Palm Coast, Florida.

Harry was of the Methodist Faith and was blessed to have grown up in the Arkansas Methodist Children’s Home in Little Rock.

A Memorial Service will be held at Lakewood United Methodist Church at 3:30 PM Monday, September 16, 2024. A private inurnment will be at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
