Harold Hancock
Harold Hancock age 67 of Bismarck died Thursday April 30, 2009 at home. He was born May 23, 1941 in Bismarck, AR. the son of the late Calvin and Alpha Herrin Hancock. Harold was a machine operator and a U. S. Navy veteran. His wife, Dorothy L. "Dot" Hancock; one brother, Doyle Hancock; and one grandson, Christopher Hancock preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sons, Aaron Hancock of Austin, TX; Travis Hancock and wife, Amanda; Jon Hancock and wife, Angelica all of Bismarck, AR; one daughter, April Thomason of Hot Springs, AR; three sisters, Lorene Whittle of Arkadelphia, AR; Linda Hardage of Bismarck, AR; Faye Chapmond of Hot Springs, AR; two brothers, Charles "Dayton" Hancock of Hot Springs, AR; Richard "Pete" Hancock of Bismarck, AR; four grandchildren, Nathan, Heather and Brandi McPherson and Claire Hancock.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday May 3, 2009 at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia. Interment will follow at Oak Bower Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leon Montgomery, Mitchell Shuffield, Mike Edwards, Hugh Wagner, Jim Roach and Wendell Coffman. Visitation will be Saturday 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America at www.pva.org
