Harold Glenn Green, alias the Green Hornet, left this Earth on March 19, 2025, headed for the beautiful bright lights of Heaven. He did not need a GPS because he had said, “I know where I am going.” Harold Glenn Green, 75, of Hensley, AR, was born February 21, 1950, to the late Essie Wilbanks Green and Fred Spencer Green, of Magnolia, AR. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Dr. Horace Green in Pine Bluff, AR. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Wilson Green, a daughter, Kimberly (Ryan) Maddox, of Springfield, MO, Grandchildren; Preston Maddox of the home, Lucas Maddox (Rachel) of Fayetteville, AR, Reagan Maddox Wren (David) of Austin, TX, 1 Great Grandson, Kasper Jax Maddox Wren, Sister, Shirley Green Heath of Crain, MO, Sister in Law, Bonnie Green of Little Rock, AR; Bonus Children, Julie Johnson Abernathy of Little Rock, AR and Christopher Johnson, of Sheridan, AR. Harold leaves behind many extended family members and friends.
Harold served over 20+ years in the US Army, AR National Guard and the US Army Reserve. He was a Vietnam era Veteran of the Army, serving in Italy and Germany, in Communications as a Radio Operator. He received many awards over the lifetime of his service. He was very patriotic and loved his USA. Harold was a proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders, Arkansas Affiliation.
He was a member of the Central Arkansas Corvette Club, National Park Corvette Club, and Bad Boy Vettes. He loved his 2001 Bowling Green Corvette Convertible and the fellowship of friends and winning awards.
Harold had a Bachelor’s Degree from South Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR. He also went to UAMS Respiratory Therapy School and worked as a Certified Respiratory Therapist for 33 years at Baptist Health of Little Rock and North Little Rock, AR.
Everywhere Harold was, whether working or attending Corvette events, or serving his country in war and in peace, he made many life long friends with his easy-going, laid-back personality. He never forgot his Lord Jesus. He never forgot his family and his love for them. He never forgot the work ethics his father, Fred Spencer Green, taught him. Harold worked from the time he was 12 till he retired March 1, 2016.
Visitation is 10:00 am, followed by the funeral at 11:00 am, Monday, March 24, 2025 at Redfield Missionary Baptist Church, 500 Davis Ave., Redfield, AR.
Graveside service is at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Magnolia Memorial Park, Magnolia, AR.
