Harold E. Friedrich age 87, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on February 3, 2010, and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born August 30th 1922 to the late Leonard and Zada Friedrich in Chanute Kansas. But he lived most of his life in Arkansas. He was a long time member of Central Baptist Church and a member of Ewton Bradley Sunday School Class; a member of Big Rock Masonic Lodge and the Missouri Pacific Officers Club. He was a WWII veteran and served with the 765th railway battalion in Europe.
After graduation from high school Harold started work for the Missouri Pacific Railroad where he worked many years in the North Little Rock Shop and in the St Louis Corporate Headquarters from which he retired as boiler and welding supervisor.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Christine - they were joined in love for each other and in their love of the Lord having been baptized on the same day in 1954. Other survivors include a son, Gary Harold Friedrich and his wife Dolly; a sister, Nancy Friedrich Langston; two grandchildren, Annette Duncan and John Charles McManus; and one great grandchild, Christopher Duncan.
Family visitation will be held at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, Arkansas from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010, preceding a 12:00 graveside service to be held at Stoney Point Cemetery in Beebe.
