Harold L. Boster (Rusty), 80, of Sherwood, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022. Survivors include his wife, Sandra and children Russell, Ronnie, (Jennifer), Tasha, Alana, (Geovanni).
Grandchildren include Joseph Boster, Colin Boster, Katelyn McKelvey, Weston Koski, Elijah Leiva, Ethan Leiva and great grandson Houston Boster. He attended NLR First Assembly of God. He enjoyed working for Stryker Orthopaedics. He was an entrepreneur at heart and created a lot of good things. He loved Jesus, his family and his church friends. He was always there to make us kids laugh. Always telling a joke to get us smiling. He was always willing to give a helping hand even if it meant getting up in the middle of the night to get his son in law to the airport.
We referred to him as Papa Bear and his honey making fit him rightly so. He loved to take Sandra on coffee dates and enjoy sitting outside with her. He was always calling and checking on his children and grandchildren. He’ll always be remembered for his sweet spirit, kind words and bright smile.
Sandra, Russell, Ronnie, Tasha and Alana, Katelyn, Weston, Joseph and Colin are better because of his influence in our lives and want to thank you sincerely for your prayers and support to our family.
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Psalms 23:1-6 NIV
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?””
John 11:25-26 NIV
