Hannah Mackenzie (Kenzie) Hess, 21, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, May 23, 2016. She was born February 28, 1995 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Tom and Sydney Wood Hess. She was a member of CCSC at Arkansas Tech in Russellville and the Age to Age Mentor Program. Mackenzie volunteered and worked at Camp Aldersgate, was a JDRF Ambassador and an active member of Central Church of Christ in Little Rock.
She is survived by her parents, Tom and Sydney Hess of North Little Rock; brother, Hunter Hess and wife Kaycee of Marion, Arkansas; maternal grandparents, Cart and Toni Wood of North Little Rock; fraternal grandparents, Bubba and Wanda White, of Destin, Florida; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many many friends that will miss her. She was preceded in death by her fraternal grandfather, Tom Hess, Sr.; and her uncle, Brent Wood.

Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, or Camp Aldersgate.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday followed by a Celebration of Kenzie's Life at 7:00 p.m., at Central Church of Christ, 6th and Izard in Little Rock. Arrangements by Smith - North Little Rock Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
