Hal H. Murray, Jr., age 69, of Hot Springs, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021.
Hal was born on November 5, 1951, in Hot Springs, the son of Hal H. Murray, Sr. and Winnie Yvonne Miles Murray. On April 21, 1972, he married Pamela Cain. He is preceded in death by his father; and his step-father, Bobby J. Spencer.
Hal was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He worked for Arkansas Power and Light for twenty years and Reynolds Aluminum for ten years. He was an excellent fishing guide, jokester and story teller, his ability to find fish was phenomenal and he loved to guide. He had a lot of memorable days on the local lakes. He was a wonderful son, husband, father and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pamela Murray of Hot Springs; his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Rebecca Murray of Conway; his daughter, Kimberly Murray of Hot Springs; his mother, Winnie Miles Murray Spencer of Hot Springs; his sister, Linda Wilkie of Hot Springs; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 4, 2021, in the Lowe Cemetery with Bro. George Lynch officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM prior to service, at Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Interment will be in the Lowe Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Crumpton, Jeff Kilby, K. L. Parks, Jeff Crumpton, Jason Crumpton, Pete Crumpton and Josh Cannon.
