Gwendolyn June Richards

Gwendolyn June Richards, 81, of Sherwood, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 11, 2023. She was born in Benton, Kentucky to the late Forrest Lynn and Wilma Dene Lofton. 

  Gwen was preceded in death by her brother John Martin Edwards, Grandsons Cody and Rene Richards, also her daughter in law Karen Richards.

   She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Billy Joe Richards, children Robert (Sylvia) Richards of Del Rio, Texas, Timothy Joe Richards and Jeffrey Dean Richards of Sherwood, Arkansas. Grandchildren Timothy Joe Richards Jr., Amanda Jo Richards, Benjamin Richards, and Avery Richards. Great grand children Presley Dene and Monroe Robert Aluise, Faye Ember Richards and her sister Madonna (Larry) Hinchey of Sherwood, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

   Gwen attended Lakewood Methodist Church and was a devout Christian. She had many careers over her lifetime including banking, respiratory therapist, and Southwest Airlines reservation specialist all of which she excelled in. 

    She will be missed by all.
