GW Short

GW Short, age 87, of Little Rock passed away October 21, 2024. He was born April 23, 1937, in Waldo, Arkansas to Gladney Short, Sr. and Grace Booth Short.

GW served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1961. He loved his country dearly. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; numerous brothers and sisters; and daughter, Susan Short.

GW is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean Short; and son, Allen Short.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior at Life Line Baptist Church, 7601 Baseline Rd, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209. Graveside services will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
