GUY GREGG, 87, of Little Rock, passed from this life on May 10, 2016. He was born October 20, 1928, in West Point, Ohio, to Guy and Pearl Hill Gregg. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Jean Hadley Gregg and sister, Margie Silliman. He is survived by four children, Janet Mong (Jim) of Columbiana, Ohio, Gary Gregg (Carolyn) of Searcy, Arkansas, Gail Gregg (Joan) of Abilene, Texas, and Joy Clark (Dain) of Pavo, Georgia. His 11 grandchildren are Daniel Mong (Kandis) of Newnan, Georgia; Angie Mong Haustein (Hans) of North Little Rock; Rance Gregg (Heather) of Rogers; Heather Gregg Ihde (Landon) of Nashville, TN; Grant Gregg (Jennifer) of Abilene, TX; Sarah Gregg Shappley (Taylor) of Collierville, TN; Cam Clark (Dana) of Auburn, AL; Rachel Clark of Little Rock; Emily Clark Hill (David) of Maumelle; and 14 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Hadley of Abilene, Texas.

A master carpenter in his early years, and in commercial construction in his later years, Guy always enjoyed woodworking crafts. He built homes and apartments in Columbiana, Ohio, built Casual Corner stores in malls all over the eastern United States, and worked in commercial construction in central Arkansas before retiring in 1999. He is renowned for his custom-made jewelry boxes and writing pens made from exotic woods. He was willing to help many senior citizens with home repairs.

His favorite pastime was spending winters in Florida. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, and traveling to watch children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in various activities. He and Jean were blessed by travelling with several other couples for enjoyable vacations.

Guy was a faithful Christian. He and Jean were members of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Lit¬tle Rock for many years where they served in various ministries. He leaves a host of family and friends who loved and respected him dearly.

Visitation will be Friday, May 13, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, May 14, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, 10900 Rodney Parham Rd. Services will also be at the church at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Mr. Nick Hamilton and Mr. Chuck Monan. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Al¬exander.

In lieu of flowers, the fami¬ly suggests memorial gifts for Harding University, Advancement Office, Box 12238, Searcy, Arkan¬sas, 72149-5615.
