Guy Cole

Guy A Cole, 86, of East End, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010. He was a World War II Navy veteran, a past Grand Master and 32nd Degree Mason of Iron Springs Masonic Lodge, a lifetime member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church, member of East End Deer Club, East End Fox Hunters Association and Potter Creek Deer Club. Mr. Cole was an avid outdoorsman and farmer. He loved to hunt, fish, play golf, and watch the Razorbacks with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise Bailey Cole; daughter, Gloria Shaw (Don) of Little Rock; son, Ricky G. Cole (Janice) of East End; daughter, Janet L. Cole of East End; five grandchildren, Donna Gramlick, Steve Shaw, Robert Cole, Brittni Cole, and Matt Roberts; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Lois Billings, Billie Williamson; and brother, Deward Cole.
Memorials may be made to Salem Cemetery fund or charity of your choice.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at East Union Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Church.
