Gussie Ann Hughitt

Gussie Ann Hughitt, age 86, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019. She was born on June 14, 1932 in Petit Jean, Arkansas, the daughter of James Andrew Taylor and Laura Ann Goodnight Taylor. On March 21, 1972, she was married to Marvin Hughitt who preceded her in death on August 13, 1983. She was also preceded in death by three children, Laura Dillard, David Thomas and Terry Thomas. She was a retired nurses aide. She enjoyed quilting and loved being with her family. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Roger and Mary Thomas of Murfreesboro, Wendell and Angelia Thomas of Mena, Marvella Hughitt and her fianc, David Barbre of Dierks and Martha and Mickey McCauley of Murfreesboro; twenty grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Ned Taylor of Morrilton. A family directed memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Eddies Place, 4674 Hwy 70 W, Kirby, Arkansas.
