Gregory Lynn Galloway, age 60, of Glenwood, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020.
He was born on April 27, 1960 in Murfreesboro, the son of Robert Eugene "Bobby" Galloway and Ruby Lee Jester Galloway. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Greg was a 1978 graduate of Glenwood High School. He was active in sports, was a charter member of the GHS Band and voted senior class president. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and served on the Mount Tabor Cemetery Association Board. He was very talented and creative and played the organ and piano effortlessly. Whether he was creating a beautiful floral arrangement, singing his favorite hymn or working with decorative concrete, Greg could master it all. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, going to auctions and spending time on the lake with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Lindsey Martin and her husband, Michael of Glenwood, Heath Galloway of Hot Springs, Gage Galloway, Josie Galloway and Sawyer Galloway, all of Glenwood; his grandchildren, Alex and Braxton Martin and Taylin and Ruby Jane Galloway; his siblings and their spouses, Freda and Dickie West of Glenwood, Ron and Jan Galloway of Hot Springs and Donna and Bill West of Glenwood; his step-father, Guy Ward of Glenwood; his fiance, Valarie Veasey-Johnson of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in the Mount Tabor Cemetery with Bro. James Owens and Bro Erby Burgess officiating.
Pallbearers will be Denny Jester, Shawn Wilson, Jimmy Angel, Kenny Ray McGrew, Ted Egleston and Eddie Bright.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
